Automatically delete alert emails for expired events

How do I delete emails alerting an event saved in my calendar?


Especially for those referring to an expired event, this information is unnecessary and clogs up the inbox.


The alerts can be from event synced with google calendar as well as the max calendar.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 10.0.2

Hey there user2806,

I understand that you are getting some alerts from a calendar event that you would no longer like to receive. You can change the alert settings for your events using the information in the article below:

Calendar (El Capitan): Set event alerts and receive notifications
Keep in mind that you may also need to adjust your default alert settings. Information about that process is located at the top of the article.
